The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) is delighted to have been chosen as charity of the year by Midas Construction. Banners are already on display at the Midas Group, St Ives site entrance promoting their support for the charity .
The company got off to a great fundraising start when Matthew Webb, Steve Taylor and his sons Toby, Reuben and Louie raised £351 for the charity by entering the Wimborne Santa Fun Run at the end of last year. Senior Project Manager, John Browning, intends to enter a team for the Dorset Plane Pull and is also encouraging some of his employees to take part in the charity Skydive with the Tigers in July.
JTYAF Chairman, Pete Thornton commented, “We’re so grateful to have the support of Midas Construction. They’re great people and we’re really looking forward to working together for the benefit of local youngsters.”
JTYAF supports young people with bursaries and grants in pursuit of their ambitions.
