Partners at Ellis Jones Solicitors were all at sea when they inspected their buoy in Poole Harbour.
Dick Linford, Commodore of Parkstone Yacht Club, kindly hosted six partners from the Dorset law firm on his yacht as a ‘thank you’ for sponsoring the race mark for more than eight years.
The buoy, just off the North Channel, is well known to the hundreds of sailors from Parkstone Yacht Club who regularly race in the harbour every year.
Nigel Smith, Ellis Jones’ Managing Partner, said: “We always say it’s good to get your bearings by using our services but for sailors in Poole Harbour that really is the case
“The race buoy is a great way of getting our name across to hundreds of people in the most unlikely, but picturesque, of settings. It was good to see the Ellis Jones’ name standing out loud and proud.”
