Man arrested following indecent exposure incidents in West Parley
Anyone who was near West Parley Memorial Hall in the early hours of 2 and 10 August and witnessed this is urged to contact the police.
Dorset Police are hoping witnesses will come forward following reports of a man exposing himself in the area of West Parley Memorial Hall between 5am and 6.30am on both Friday 2 August and Saturday 10 August.
Following enquiries, a 55-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency and he has been released on police bail as further investigative work is carried out.
Police Constable Jessica Burton, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into these incidents, and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the two mornings in question.
“In particular, I would like to speak to a female dog walker who was seen in the vicinity on the morning of Friday 2 August at around 6.25am as she may have information to assist our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240122429. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
