Man assaults two people in Wimborne
If you were in or outside the Co-op in Crown Mead on Monday 25 April and witnessed these incidents contact the police.
A number of people witnessed two connected assaults in Wimborne on Monday 25 April.
At around 5.10pm a confrontation took place outside Co-op in Crown Mead involving a man and a group of teenage boys and girls. It is reported that one of the teenage girls was assaulted by the man during the incident. It is also alleged that a witness was pushed by the same man when she challenged him inside the store.
Neither the girl nor the witness sustained any physical injuries.
Police Constable Samuel Kinsella, of Dorset Police, said: “This incident took place in front of a number of people, and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident and has not yet spoken to the police to please get in touch.
“I would urge the man involved in this incident to please contact me as it is important for me to take a full account of what happened.”
