Man injured in reported hit and run in Bournemouth

A man in his 30s was found with injuries in Wimborne Road near to Cemetery Junction following a report received by Dorset Police at 11.39pm on Saturday 28 May.
He was treated by the ambulance service and was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were serious but not life-changing or life-threatening. He has since been discharged from hospital.
The man reported that he had been involved in a collision with a vehicle, but was unable to give any further details.
Police Constable Rob Duckmanton, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident as we try and establish the full circumstances of what happened.
“I would urge any witnesses to please contact us and I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the incident and has dashcam fitted to please check their footage for anything of relevance.”
