Motor cyclist knocked off bike in hit and run in Bournemouth
The driver of the silver Citroen Xsara Picasso, which was involved in the collision, failed to stop at the scene.
A motorcyclist in his 50s sustained minor injuries in a collision with a silver Citroen Xsara Picasso on the southbound slip road from the A338 to the Cooper Dean Roundabout.
The incident happened at around 6.40am on Sunday 25 July with the car failing to stop.
Police Constable Gabriel Neagu, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam, to please come forward.
“It is likely the car involved sustained damage to its nearside front bumper, lights and wing mirror and I am also keen to hear from anyone who is aware of a Citroen Xsara Picasso that has sustained damage recently in unexplained circumstances.
“Finally, I would like to appeal directly to the driver of the vehicle involved to do the right thing and come forward.”
