Motorcyclist injured in Holt hit and run
If you were in Lodge Road at around 7.15pm on Friday 16 April, you may have witnessed this collision between a Land Rover and a motorcycle.
The driver of a Land Rover failed to stop after a collision with a BSA motorcycle on Lodge Road in Holt at around 7.15pm on Friday 16 April.
The Land Rover is described as made in the 1960s and was light blue or grey with a white roof.
The motorcyclist – a local man in his 60s – sustained injuries to his chest and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police Constable Gavin Newbury, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision, or manner of driving of either vehicle involved prior to the incident, to please get in touch.
“Our enquiries are continuing to identify the driver of the Land Rover and I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who recognises the vehicle from the description given.
“I would also like to speak to any motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
