Motorcyclist seriously injured in Wallisdown collision
If you witnessed a rush hour collision on Wednesday 22 November or have dashcam footage, contact Dorset Police.
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a rush hour collision in Wallisdown.
At 5.14pm on Wednesday 22 November officers were called to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Wallisdown Road at the junction of Canford Avenue, Poole.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment and the driver of the car was uninjured.
Wallisdown Road was closed during the incident to allow emergency services to treat the injured rider and investigate the circumstances of the collision. It was reopened at 7.35pm.
Police Constable Chris Brolan, of the traffic unit, said: “This collision happened in the rush hour, and I would ask anyone who saw what happened or captured it on dashcam to please contact Dorset Police.
“I would like to thank motorists for their patience and understanding during the road closures. While these were entirely necessary, I understand they caused considerable congestion in the area.”
