Bournemouth Hospital Charity is hosting a special event this Friday (30 January) for anyone interested in its ‘Great Wall of China Trek’.
Taking place in April 2016, the challenge takes adventurers along the 2,000-year-old wall which stretches through beautiful woodland, farmland and between hills and mountains. Verwood panto’s colourful characters bring the stage to life

The 30th anniversary production from Verwood Pantomime Society, Aladdin by Bradford and Webster, opened on Saturday at the Verwood Hub. Both shows were almost sold out.
Audiences enjoyed all the tradition of the panto with lots singing and dancing, booing and cheering. Every child in the theatre was given the opportunity to join the cast on stage and sing the community song, which many of them did.
