Pedestrian seriously injured in Corfe Mullen collision
Dorset Police is keen to speak to any motorists who were in the area, particularly the driver of a silver Ford Focus.
Two men were taken to hospital following a collision in Corfe Mullen on Saturday 8 November.
Dorset Police received a report at 3.55pm of a collision involving a dark blue Yamaha motorcycle and a pedestrian on Wareham Road, near the roundabout at the junction with Springdale Road.
Emergency services attended and the pedestrian — a man in his 80s — was taken to hospital for treatment to what was believed to be a serious leg injury.
The rider of the motorcycle – a man in his 60s — was also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Constable Mike Wells, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are continuing to investigate this collision and I would urge anyone who witnessed it and has not spoken to police to please make contact with us.
“I am particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a silver Ford Focus, possibly around a 2008 model, that was seen travelling behind the motorcyclist on Springdale Road around the time of the collision. I am keen to speak to them as witnesses as they may have seen what happened.
“I would also like to hear from any motorists who were in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
