Piglet visits Bournemouth care home
Percy met residents at Care South’s Talbot View home, and was delighted when they gave him a stroke – and a banana.

A small piglet made new friends at a Bournemouth care home.
Percy the 11-week-old kunekune piglet visited Care South’s Talbot View home on Ensbury Avenue to meet the residents, having been brought in by Emma from Em’s Friendly Farm.
Percy particularly likes bananas which he was fed by Neil Dominy, home manager for Talbot View, before he ran down the corridors and into one of the communal lounges for the residents to pet him. Percy charmed the residents who were delighted to give him a stroke when he ran up to them and snuffled at their feet.
Neil said: “Many of our residents are animal lovers and so we welcome a whole range of animals into the home for them to meet. Percy sparked joy and laughter for the residents as he ran into their rooms and communal lounges with a little wagging tail to see them.”
