Cecilia Barbosa, aged 43, was last seen at her Abinger Road address at around 11.15am on Wednesday 24 July. She left her home address driving a pea green Renault Clio with the registration number R17 CEE.
Inspector Kevin Lansdale, of Dorset Police, said: “I understand that Cecilia has not been well recently and that she was upset when she was last seen. She has also left home without her mobile phone.
“This behaviour is entirely out of character and Cecilia’s family are very concerned for her welfare. It is important that Cecilia, or anyone who knows of her whereabouts, comes forward as soon as possible. I would also like to hear from anyone who has seen her vehicle. I understand that Lyme Regis is one of her favourite places, so it’s possible that she will be driving the vehicle in that area. I urge Cecilia to get in touch – we simply need to know that you are safe and well.”
Cecilia is white, around four feet eleven inches tall and of a broad build. She has short grey hair, brown eyes and a scar at the front of her throat. She walks with a limp to her left side.
Cecilia was wearing a purple short-sleeved top, with a gold pattern on the front, and three-quarter length leggings. She was also wearing flat ballet-style shoes.
