Police recover suspected stolen bikes in Bournemouth
Police are seeking the owners of two bikes, believed to have been stolen, which have been recovered in Westbourne.
Detectives would like to identify the owners of two bikes they suspect have been stolen.
They received a report at around 11pm on Wednesday 2 October that a moped had been stolen from the Milburn Road car park in Westbourne.
It was subsequently located by the owner nearby at around 1am on Thursday 3 October, alongside two bicycles, which are also suspected to have been stolen.
The bicycles are a grey Apollo Transport electric folding bike and a lime green Specialized Rockhopper bicycle.
Detective Constable Hannah Duell, of BCP CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this matter and we are issuing images of the bicycles that have been recovered in the hope of identifying their owners.
“We would urge anyone who recognises the bikes from their descriptions and thinks they may be the owner to please come forward, giving as much detail as possible, such as serial numbers and distinguishing marks, so we can confirm ownership.”
