Police seek Ferndown arsonist
If you have any video footage of this incident or witnessed any suspicious activity in New Road on Sunday 15 May contact the police.
A vehicle parked on a driveway outside a property and the area surrounding the front door were damaged by fire in the New Road Ferndown area on Sunday 15 May.
The police received the report about the incident at 11.30pm and there were no reports of any injuries.
Following enquiries by officers and liaison with the fire service, it is believed the fire was started deliberately.
Detective Constable Lianne Williamson, of Dorset County CID, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this incident and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of Sunday 15 May to please contact us.
“I would also appeal to residents with home CCTV systems and motorists with dashcams who were in the vicinity to please check their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
