Poole residents seriously injured in two separate collisions
If you witnessed either of the incidents in Poole or have dashcam footage you are asked to contact Dorset Police.
Two road collisions took place in Poole on Tuesday 22 November, in which local residents sustained serious injuries.
The first, which happened at the junction of Bournemouth Road and Mansfield Road, was reported at 7.05am.
A VW Polo, driven by a 70-year-old man from Poole, and a Yamaha motorcycle, ridden by a 44-year-old Poole man, collided with each other.
The ambulance service also attended and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police Constable Mark Palmer, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to the collision to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to speak to a man who stopped and spoke to one of the two men involved.
“Also, I would urge any motorists with dashcam who were travelling in the area at the time to please check their footage for anything of relevance.”
Dorset Police received a report of the second collision at the junction of Beechbank Avenue and Pinesprings Drive at 9.03am.
It involved a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, driven by a 47-year-old woman from Poole, and a WK Scrambler motorcycle, ridden by a 40-year-old Poole woman.
The motorcyclist was taken by the ambulance service to hospital with serious injuries.
