Spooky Halloween trail opens at Moors Valley
Moors Valley Country Park has unveiled a spine-chilling new Halloween trail through the forest.
Open from today until Sunday 3 November, Moors Valley Country Park has unveiled a spine-chilling new Halloween trail to entertain families visiting the forest.
‘Halloween at Moors Valley’ is an illuminated trail that will guide families through the haunted woods, where eerie surprises await at every turn.
Look out for the secret cemetery, hidden among the trees. Beware the ghostly Victorian undertaker, surrounded by gravestones. Watch out for the tricks of the Wicked Witch, while the Phantom Highwayman lurks in the shadows, waiting to make his presence known.
To complete the spooky atmosphere, there will be larger-than-life spiders, bags of cobwebs and chains, skeletons rising from the earth, and black cats crossing your path.
Natalie Crabb, recreation ranger manager for Forestry England at Moors Valley, said: “We are really excited about our amazing new illuminated Halloween trail and can’t wait for our visitors to see it.
“It’s a perfect Halloween outing for all the family with lots of ghoulish experiences, fun and surprises to encounter as you wander through the forest.”
This haunting Halloween trail near Ashley Heath will suit families looking to share a fun, spooky experience this autumn.
Tickets cost £16 for adults and £12 for children (age 16 and under), and £53 for families. Sessions available from 4pm to 9pm. Book in advance at www.rg.live/events/halloween-at-moors-valley.
