Start knitting teddies for a celebration in Dorset later in the year
We know you can’t go ‘down to the woods today’ but you could start to knit some teddies.
The Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) is planning to create a big Teddy Bears Picnic – and they would like your help.
You can knit, crochet or sew bears in any way, shape, form or colour you like; or make some food for them to eat; or a blanket to sit on – no limits to your imagination. Think of a sunny summer’s day when we will hopefully all be outside again celebrating better times, and let your imagination take over.
The RVS hopes to display the creations later this year, and then sell the items to raise money for its service.
You can post the teddies to the RVS at The Old School House, 49, High West Street, Dorchester, DT1 1UT.
