Three people came to the woman’s aid and police would like to speak to them and to anyone who has any dashcam footage of the incident.

Anyone in Turners Nursery field near Uppleby Road, Branksome, who may have witnessed this assault are urged to contact the police.

Three people from Bournemouth were arrested on Saturday 14 September following an assault on a woman near Boscombe Pier that involved a hammer.

Dorset Police know the identity of one of the victims but would like the second one to come forward to provide an account.
