People who are struggling with the cost of living are to continue to receive support from Dorset Council over the next four years.
Administered by Dorset Community Foundation, BCP Food and Energy Support Fund applications are open until 11 November.
Groups in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch will receive funding thanks to Dorset Community Foundation’s partnership with BCP Council.
Applications to the BCP Household Support Fund are invited from people struggling with the cost of living.
As soon as applications open at 9am on Wednesday 3 May, eligible Dorset Council residents need to apply as funds are limited.
To combat rising costs, eligible households will be able to apply for supermarket vouchers from Dorset Council.
Short-term financial support to households in need in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole is available now and should be applied for before 31 March 2023.
A number of projects to help people struggling with the cost of living will be funded from the new £2m Dorset Council fund.
Funding of £400 is now available for people in Dorset without a direct relationship with an energy supplier.
