David Sidwick has been announced as the new police and crime commissioner for Dorset following the election on 6 May.

Elections are taking place on 6 May for the Police and Crime Commissioner as well as by-elections for several town/parish councils.

The election for the Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner and for a ward of Ferndown Town Council takes place on 6 May.

Elections for the Dorset PCC and certain wards are being held on 6 May and deadline for registering is Monday 19 April.
