As part of the initiative by Hall & Woodhouse, more than £33,000 has been donated to Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.

A total of 24 organisations received funding in the latest round of awards from the Blandford-based brewers Community Chest.

The Blandford based brewer’s returned products helped create enough electricity to power nearly 17,000 average homes for a day.

Charities and community groups now have until 17 May to submit their applications to the Hall & Woodhouse Community Chest.
