The 15-mile challenge resulted in funding of £1,108 for both The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation and My Time Young Carers.

Ryan Symington, who attends Ferndown Upper School, wins the 2021 Young Achievers Award funded by Wimborne Rotary in partnership with JTYAF.
The virtual around the world challenge, which ran during February, was organised by the Air Cadet junior leaders.
Thanks to the funding, the school is now able to buy a polytunnel so that the children will be able to grow food all year round.
Air Cadet Junior Leaders challenged others to run, walk, cycle or swim around the world virtually to raise funds for JTYAF.
