The Rt Hon Caroline Nokes had the chance to try out one of the bikes which are suitable for people with physical or intellectual disabilities.
Stallions, which are hardy and resilient, have been released into the New Forest over a six-week period to maintain native bloodlines.
The event held at Carvers Recreation Ground aimed to inspire the next generation to look after the New Forest and tackle the climate emergency.
The New Forest Thrive event will take place at Carvers Recreation Ground on Sunday 6 July from 10am to 3pm.
People are invited to put forward their views in a survey organised by The New Forest National Park Authority.
The Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust is restoring heathlands to benefit sand lizards, smooth snakes and adders.
