Communities across the area gathered on Sunday to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the country’s armed forces.
Services are taking place in towns across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, with the parades requiring several road closures.
Military personnel and veterans will be able to travel free of charge to Remembrance Day services on 9 November.
Communities across Dorset commemorated the lives and sacrifices of those who have served in the Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday.
As well as Remembrance Sunday services taking place in Dorset, services will also be held on Armistice Day, 11 November.
Armed forces personnel and veterans can travel to Remembrance Sunday events for free on South Western Railway services.
Remembrance has been marked across Dorset with a series of poignant and moving services.
There will be parades and Remembrance services throughout towns and villages in Dorset which local people are invited to attend.
