A new full-sized 3G football turf pitch, complete with fencing and floodlights, has opened at Rossmore Leisure Centre.
Totalling nearly half a million pounds, the grants are given to charitable causes across East Dorset by the trust.

People in the Talbot Heath area are stepping up their campaign to save Highmoor Farm, the last remaining urban farm in Poole, following a formal application by Talbot Village Trust and Nuffield Health to develop the land south of the Wallisdown Road.
The deadline for applying for funding from the Trust is 31 January with the trustees meeting in the spring.
Already 29 children have been able to enjoy visiting off road locations thanks to the provision of adventure chairs following £28,000 funding.
The village is without many amenities and so the Grade-II listed village hall is vital for the community.
