Patients of the Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch hospitals have a new way to manage appointments this December.

The investment comes from BCP Council, JPMorganChase, Bournemouth Airport and University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.

Thanks to a substantial donation by the late Ken Thorpe, the play and assessment area at Poole Hospital has been upgraded.

Not only were there more participants this year, a record £29,273 was also raised to enhance patient care at University Hospital Dorset.

The BEACH building now houses a new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre.

Additional energy saving solar panels are to be installed at both Poole Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
