Wimborne Folk Festival was held on 6–8 June. Despite heavy rainfall on Saturday, the event drew in significant crowds.

TV’s Rosemary Shrager will be doing a live cooking demonstration during the Wimborne Folk Festival on Saturday 7 June.

It is hoped that people attending the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival and other events around the town will use the Wimborne cup.

People have until 31 January to help a local artist to come up with designs for a cup to be used during the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival.

Tens of thousands of people enjoyed what many described as ‘the best folk festival ever’ in Wimborne over the weekend of 10-12 June.
