Teenager bitten by dog in Poole
The police are hoping the dog owner will come forward, but witnesses to this incident should also get in touch.
A 13-year-old boy was walking along Tuckers Lane at around 7.05am on Thursday 25 November when he passed a woman with a dog.
The dog lunged at him and bit him on the leg, causing an injury, but although the woman pulled the dog away she walked on without saying anything.
She is described as white, aged in her 50s or 60s, around five feet one inch to five feet four inches tall and of large build with grey hair that was tied back.
The dog is described as a black and white Husky type.
Police Constable Jennie Sykes-Martin, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please get in touch.
“I would also like to appeal to the woman involved to do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/do-it-online/, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55210176767.
