The Ermine Street Guard Roman Re-enactment Society will be paying a visit to Priest’s House Museum and Garden in Wimborne on 31 August from 11am-4pm. Meet legionaries and officers and see Roman artefacts including a catapulta, used for launching arrows.
Now in its 41st year, the renowned Ermine Street Guard is the oldest Roman re-enactment group in the world. They are dedicated to the research and reconstruction of authentic Roman armour and equipment.
