Fans of the hit film Grease are invited to a special viewing of the classic movie at Christchurch’s Regent Centre – to raise money for charity.
Men can slick back their hair and ladies can sew themselves into tight leather trousers for the event just before Valentine’s Day – on February 12. The Christchurch Round Table is organising the evening to raise funds for the Children’s Wish charity.
Tickets are £12.50 with a drinks reception – and fancy dress is optional.
David Mooney from the Christchurch Round Table said, “The Round Table Children’s Wish charity does wonderful work and we hope to raise as much money as possible.
“Everyone loves Grease and we hope we can fill the theatre and enjoy a wonderful evening.”
Nicky Thompson, CEO of the charity, said, “This is a wonderful event and will be tremendous fun.
“But importantly it will raise money for our work, which means so much to the children and their families.
“Wishes really do work, they give the young person and their family something to look forward, and most importantly they give hope.”
