Tivoli panto breaks all records
‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ is still running at the Wimborne theatre, attracting record-breaking audience numbers.
The Tivoli panto – which runs until 5 January for all audiences with four performances for adults only until 7 January – has broken all records.
In fact, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ overtook the previous year’s ticket sales before the official opening night.
The show is the best-selling pantomime in the venue’s history.
The production, which opened to preview performances on 14 December, has captivated audiences with its stunning special effects, vibrant costumes, and hilarious performances.
‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ features a cast including BGT’s Courtney Jackson (The Wicked Queen / Nurse Doreen), Lucia-Jade Barker (Snow White), Lee Redwood (Muddles), Michelle Whitney (Fairy Flutter), and CJ Carroll (Prince Louis of Lytchett), plus an ensemble featuring Gemma Davis, Joshua Davis-Jones, Molly Felaco, Olly Gooch, Mary Hayball, Catherine O’Brien and Richard Womersley.
The production has extended its run on two separate occasions in order to meet demand.
Looking ahead, the theatre is already seeing strong interest in the 2025 pantomime, ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ – a new title for the Wimborne venue.
Made to Measure Productions, the team behind this year’s ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, is thrilled by the show’s success and the continued support of their loyal audience. With ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’, the team is looking forward to another spectacular year of family-friendly entertainment.
Lee Redwood, creative producer for Made to Measure Productions said: “Seeing the incredible response to ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ has been truly humbling.
“We’re incredibly proud of the cast and crew for bringing this magical experience to life, and we can’t wait to continue delighting audiences this holiday season. The excitement for ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ next year is already building, and we’re looking forward to another spectacular pantomime season.”
‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ has four special performances just for the grown-ups at 7.30pm on 3, 4, 6 and 7 January.
