In the changing economic climate where village amenities are disappearing, the residents of Piddletrenthide are putting the fun into fundraising.

‘Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs – Babe in the Hood’ will be staged at Lytchett Matravers Village Hall in January.

‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ is still running at the Wimborne theatre, attracting record-breaking audience numbers.

The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast both raised funds with a bucket collection for Variety The Children’s Charity.

Colehill Music and Drama is staging this pantomime at the village hall in the first week of February, whilst raising funds for charity.

Thanks to Variety The Children’s Charity, pupils from schools in Boscombe were able to see a panto performed by Treehouse Theatre.

Carry on Costumes has produced outfits for Paul O’Grady and Christopher Biggins as well as for the Regent’s Christmas spectacular.

Britain’s Got Talent star, Courtney Jackson, will make a return Wimborne’s Tivoli Theatre in this year’s pantomime, Aladdin.

The Sheriff of Nottingham, Maid Marian and Robin Hood will all be on stage in Colehill for one weekend in February.
