A re-vitalised Verwood carnival committee has ensured that this year’s Verwood Carnival on 30 May will be even better than last year.
Marching bands and floats will make their way around the town at 12 noon on Bank Holiday Monday, returning to the Fuzzy bit off Crane Drive around 1pm for an afternoon of exciting arena events such as the Poole Gun Carriage Display team, the Solent dog display team, the funfair and plenty of fun, food and entertainment for all ages.
There’s still time to enter a float in the procession. There’s no need to book and there are some great cash prizes for best entries. Verwood carnival queen Erin will be in attendance of course with her princesses Cordelia and Luci.
