Fresh air, friendly faces, free tickets and the chance to share a passion for Wimborne and local history – all great reasons to volunteer at the thrilling new Wimborne History Festival.
Approachable, enthusiastic, customer-focused and fun-loving volunteers are being sought for this exciting new living history event over the weekend of 16 and 17 July.
If you have a couple of hours or more to spare why not get involved and soak up the atmosphere, meet like minded people and make new friends. There are a host of interesting roles available from customer service and information assistants to ticket sales, litter picking to arena stewards, assisting with craft activities to helping set up the site.
For potential volunteers to learn more about the event and the roles on offer Wimborne History Festival, which is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, is hosting two open house events at Allendale House in Wimborne. Call in on Friday 27 May (10am to 2pm) or Thursday 2 June (3pm to 6pm), no matter your age, ability or experience they would love to see you.
