Wimborne Rotary’s fun dog show at Deans Grove Farm, Colehill, on Sunday 4 September, proved a big hit with local dog owners.
With 17 classes in which to enter dogs, the show ring was full all afternoon with rosettes awarded to the first four placings in each class.
Rotary Club President Sue Young said, “It did not take long for the on-site car park to fill after which a second car park nearby was opened and over 100 cars used the facility. We estimate the attendance at 200 people with 80 dogs entering the various classes.
“We were absolutely delighted with the response from the local community in supporting the event”, she added, “and we took over £200 on the day which will ultimately go to the Dorset Cancer Care Foundation”.
