Cancer charity banks over £6,000

The Dorset Cancer Care Foundation (DCCF) has received a generous donation of over £6,000 from customers and staff of local NatWest branches.

Christmas card sent to George Stokes by the Vicar of Hamworthy. George, a private in the Rifles Brigade, survived the war.

The main speaker at a Holocaust memorial event to be held in Bournemouth will be Mala Tribich MBE. She was one of around 60,000 prisoners freed from Bergen-Belsen concentration camp by soldiers of the British 11th Armoured Division, in the closing stages of the Second World War.
