The owner is distressed following the theft of her scooter on 14 May from her car which was parked in Bath Road.
A mobility scooter has been stolen from a car parked in the Bath Road area of Bournemouth.
Between 4am and 4.10am on Saturday 14 May, the rear windows of an Audi were smashed and the scooter was taken from the back seat of the vehicle. The victim was woken by the car alarm but did not see the offender.
Police Constable Dan Goswell, of Dorset Police, said: “This mobility scooter was taken from a vulnerable person who has been badly affected by the crime. Her car has also been damaged by the suspect.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of Bath Road, particularly anyone seen shining torches inside parked vehicles, in the early hours of Saturday 14 May. I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured anything relevant on dashcam, doorbell cameras or home CCTV systems.
The stolen scooter is a lime green Minimus folding scooter.
