Motorcyclist collides with ambulance in Bournemouth
The collision took place on the morning of Friday 30 May and police are hoping anyone with dashcam footage will come forward.
A motorcyclist riding a Harley Davidson received serious injuries when he collided with an ambulance at the junction of Wellington Road and Beechey Road on Friday 30 May.
Dorset Police received a report at 10.36am, and emergency services attended. The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
Police Constable Steve Eastwood, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“I would also urge any motorists who may have captured relevant dashcam footage to please contact us.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
