Fish rescued from the River Tarrant in Dorset

Thousands of fish have been rescued from the River Tarrant in Dorset following the recent dry spell.
The Environment Agency and the River Tarrant Protection Society worked together to rescue fish as water levels in the River Tarrant started to drop, leaving fish trapped in pools and unable to migrate.

Harry Redknapp attends book launch

Yesterday saw the launch of ‘Have Boots will Travel’, a revealing adventure story / autobiography by Verwood man Brian McIntyre.
