The conflict began on 2 April 1982 and ended on 14 June that year, and as an act of remembrance, the White Ensign is being flown over County Hall.

The White Ensign will be flying above County Hall from 2-9 April to mark the 42nd anniversary of the start of the war.
Everyone is invited to attend the service in Wimborne Minster church to mark the end of the war 40 years ago.
Saturday 2 April marks the 40th anniversary of the start of the Falklands War which lasted 74 days after Argentine forces invaded the Falklands in 1982.
