Residents expressed their frustration directly to members of Ferndown Town Council at the annual parishioners’ meeting.
Ferns Café in The Barrington Centre will be closed down by the end of May following years of financial losses.
“It shows the spirit of Ferndown!” said the town clerk at the annual Christmas event that had to be relocated from Pennys Walk to a nearby car park.
Ferndown’s annual Christmas event and Christmas lights have had to move out of the town centre because the event organisers have been unable to reach an agreement with Tesco over the use of Penny’s Walk.
