Julia’s House children’s hospice is currently on the lookout for volunteers for a variety of important roles.
The charity needs a painter or handyman for its shop in Weymouth to give it some TLC and keep on top of any repairs that are needed.
It also requires volunteers to help at events throughout the summer, manning stalls, selling raffle tickets, talking to people about Julia’s House and generally lending a hand.
There are also new volunteer tin collecting roles up for grabs. This role involves asking local businesses, pubs, shops and restaurants if they will take a Julia’s House collecting tin and counting and banking the money. It would suit individuals or couples that have a few hours to spare a week.
To find out more about these roles or to apply, please visit www.juliashouse.org or call June Maidment on 01202 644220.
