The internationally acclaimed Mediaeval Baebes are celebrating 30 years of timeless song with a unique performance at Christchurch Priory on Wednesday, 2 December, as part of their special 30th Anniversary Tour.

Embrace the magic, breathe in the atmosphere and join the Mediaeval Baebes, as they start the evening with a torchlit parade accompanied by a fanfare of medieval instruments and drums. Exulting in the true spirit of Christmas, this enchanting evening of music, theatre and dance will feature tracks from their new album ‘The Spinning Wheel,’ alongside much loved seasonal favourites.

Showcasing a richly woven collection of twelve songs inspired by the months of the year, The Spinning Wheel journeys through the seasons. From frost-bright winter laments to the heat-hazed longing of high summer.

Over the past 30 years, the Mediaeval Baebes have released 12 studio albums and won an Ivor Novello Award for their performance on the BBC serialisation The Virgin Queen.
