Electric unicyclist dies in Bournemouth collision
The man in his 40s died at the scene on the A338 Wessex Way, and police are seeking dashcam footage and any witnesses.
The rider of an electric unicycle has died in a collision on the A338 Wessex Way between the Bournemouth West Roundabout and the Richmond Hill Roundabout.
Following a report received by Dorset Police at 4.40pm on Friday 3 July, emergency services attended, but very sadly the rider of the vehicle, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died in this incident.
“We are carrying out a detailed investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened, and I am keen to speak with any witnesses who have not already had contact with police.
“I would also urge any motorists with dashcam who were in the vicinity at the time to please check their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
