Santas to run for charity

Sunday 13 December will, once again, see Santas running to raise money for
Julia’s House Children’s Hospice and other Rotary-supported charities, in the Santa-
Stour River Fun Run organised by Wimborne Rotary.

The event starts at 10am from Wimborne Town Football Club, Ainsley Road, BH21 2FU, with free parking available. People can choose from a 2.5KM or a 5KM course. The route runs in part alongside the River Stour.

Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s. Entrants should pre-book at www.wimbornerotary.org/santa. There will be limited places for those who turn up on the day, but pre-booking will guarantee a place.

Runners can choose to receive a free Santa suit or festive hat, and a free mince pie and drink will be available at the finish. Runners are encouraged to fundraise for their own favourite charities by seeking their own sponsorship.

Organiser Rotarian Neil Hutchinson said: “I would like to thank Wimborne Town Football Club for the use of their facilities, and our event sponsors whose generous support means that we can raise more for our charities.”
