Wimborne cyclists glow up in the dark

Last year, thousands of cyclists in towns and cities across the UK took part in Cycling UK’s Glow Rides. The aim of these rides is to promote safe cycling for all.

This year, for the first time, riders from Wimborne also joined in!

As dusk fell on 22 October, despite the beginnings of Storm Austen, a group of cyclists from the Wimborne Community Gardens and their friends lit up the streets of Wimborne on brightly decorated bikes. Their message to fellow cyclists is ‘Be seen, be safe’.

They encourage more cyclists to join in next year! Look out for the date on: www.cyclinguk.org
