Indecent act on Studland Beach

Studland Beach has a naturist section, and at around 8.35pm on Wednesday 15 July Dorset Police received a report of a man acting suspiciously and apparently performing an indecent act.

The man is described as aged between 50 to 60, white with patches on his skin, possibly vitiligo or similar skin condition, around five feet 10 inches tall with a large belly and wearing a cap.

A similar incident was reported involving a man of a matching description on the afternoon of Tuesday 5 May 2026.

Police Constable Luke Taylor, of the Purbeck Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are continuing to investigate these incidents, and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information regarding the identity of the man involved to please contact us.

“I would also urge anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity in the area to please report it to us.”
