Man assaulted outside Bournemouth bar
There were a number of people in the area, and so Dorset Police are hoping witnesses will come forward with information.
A teenager was seriously injured outside Barbara’s Bier Haus in Old Christchurch Road on Tuesday 28 April. Following a report received by Dorset Police at 12.30am, the 19-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment. He remains in a critical condition, and his family has been informed.
Speaking on Tuesday 28 April, Detective Inspector Ian Allen, of Dorset Police, said: “A detailed investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances of what happened, and we are reviewing all available CCTV.
“I understand there were a number of people in the area, and I would ask anyone who saw what happened, or may have captured any relevant footage, to please get in touch.
“Fast-time enquiries are underway to locate those involved, and a cordon has been put in place while an examination of the scene is carried out.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area while enquiries are conducted, and we would ask anyone with information or concerns to please speak with an officer.”
