Dorset Police are to become more accessible to all in an effort to make Dorset the safest place in the country.

Organisations that support the needs of vulnerable people in the community are invited to apply for grants of between £5,000 and £10,000.

Dorset Council’s Community Recovery Grants scheme has awarded funds amounting to £95,000 to 68 organisations.

With very strong winds predicted to hit Dorset tomorrow and over the weekend, people are being urged to stay safe.
