Steam rollers crush World Record
The world record for the greatest number of steam rollers in a formation over a set course was broken at the Great Dorset Steam Fair showground on 31 August, exactly 10 years after the previous record.
Prices slashed for non-league game
Wimborne Town Football Club is slashing admission prices for Saturday’s home non-league day fixture against Cinderford Town at Cuthbury.
Non-league day has become an annual event as the grassroots game bids to widen its popular appeal.
The aim is to attract more people to non-league games.
Steam rollers line up for a World Record Attempt
The Great Dorset Steam Fair World Record attempt will take place tomorrow morning at 10.30am by the Special Roller Display onsite. Due to the high number taking part, the time was brought forward to allow more than 100 steam rollers to move over the length of new road.
